Life Lately...

Hello blogland!  Wow, it has been a long time since I've posted anything, but I'm feeling refreshed and ready to come back to my little corner of the interwebs.  I hope everyone is doing well!

First off, the house!  We have been making a ton of progress on the house and are probably only a few short weeks away from final inspection!  The inside of the house is 100% done now—and by 100% I mean 100% for inspection, not 100% finished.  Now all we have left to do is replace the windows in the bedrooms that weren’t considered big enough for “egress”, the septic, and the drywall on the garage ceiling, that's been done since I drafted this!  All big hurdles, but Joe says only a few more weekends of work!  Thank God because I’m ready!  You may have seen on my Instgram that we had some friends of ours who are in a band at the house this past weekend to shoot their new music video!  It was so much fun!

You guys probably don’t know this but I have been doing yoga on and off for about 10 years.  I’ve always wanted to make a bigger commitment to practice on a regular basis and I have finally gotten to a place these last 8 weeks where I am ready to do that.  I take a yoga class every year at the community college.  It’s usually 6 weeks, one day a week.  I decided to buy the book Yoga Girl by Rachel Brathen, if you’re not familiar with her, you should be.  She is soo amazing and such an inspiration.  I've also been doing the 30-Day Yoga Challenge with Erin Motz as recommended by my girl Kristen.  Yoga really can be practiced by anyone!

I ended up getting a new car and I love it!! I've been obsessed with Explorers and needed to get something with 4WD for living out where we do.  Can't wait to fill this baby up with babies!

So Target got me again a couple weeks ago and man, they’ve got some cute stuff right now!  I actually ended up buying my first-ever romper and it is sooo cute!  I got an adorable maxi dress too.  I could’ve spent hundreds more on myself but I regained consciousness and remembered that I don’t have an unlimited budget.

I've also added some new jewelry to my collection, two of my favorite pieces being this Rose Quarts Druzy "Heart Chakra" Pendant from OM Soul Shop.  It's a beautiful piece and it was priced very reasonably.  What I love about this piece is the powerful combination it has being rose quartz and druzy... "rose quartz is the stone of power and influence and attracts the true essence of love.  It is the most important crystal of the heart.  It harmonizes the heart and soul, providing pathways of communication to the higher self."  The Druzy is "known as the Stone of Stardust" it is known to bring lightness and harmony to one's spirit."  How amazing is that?!  I'm totally obsessed!  I also got a 3rd MantraBand added to my collection, this one says "warrior", on it and is in gold.  I love it!

On the IVFx4 forefront, nothing new really at this time just continuing on with BCP and I do my first Lupron Depot shot on Friday.  It will last for about 4 weeks and it is used to help prevent and suppress endometriosis.  I will end up having to do a second one of these in June.  I will stop BCP on  May 15th and once I start my period I can start the Aygestin which I take daily for 6 weeks.  Once that starts I will really start to feel like we're making some progress towards this next cycle.  It will only be 6 weeks away once I start that medication and I know we will hopefully be moving not long after that starts too so I will be totally preoccupied and the time is going to fly!

A week from this Friday will be one month until my 29th birthday!  My last year in my twenties!  I can't believe it!  I have really high hopes for this next year of my life, but I am welcoming this chapter with open arms and I cannot wait to see what is in store for us!  Starting our lives in our new home will be such a blessing in itself, if we can add a pregnancy and a baby to the mix, I think I would just burst!

I apologize for all the randomness, I just couldn't think of a better way to start back up my blogging streak.  Hopefully I can keep it up!
